Telegram bot setup guide
Three steps: ① find @BotFather to create a bot and get the token → ② paste the token on the left → ③ save and enable; the system receives new messages automatically.
1. Create a Telegram bot
- In Telegram, search for @BotFather and open the chat.
- Send /newbot to create a new bot.
- Follow the prompts to set a display name and username (ending in _bot).
- Copy the bot token returned by BotFather.
2. Enter the token on the left and enable
- Paste the token into “Bot Token” on the left.
- Click “Save” at the top, then “Enable”.
- Click “Test connection” to verify the bot token works.
3. Test the bot
- Search for the bot username in Telegram and start a chat.
- Send any message and AI / an agent will reply automatically.

The customer message is missing#
Check that the Telegram channel is enabled, the bot credential remains valid, and the customer is messaging the correct bot.
The Inbox has the message but AI does not reply#
Check whether Telegram is enabled for AI reception, the conversation allows AI reception, relevant knowledge or skills are available, and AI usage is available.
The Inbox has a reply but Telegram does not#
Inspect the delivery state and failure log. Delivery succeeds only when the real Telegram client receives the message; a temporary Inbox bubble is not proof.
When contacting support, provide the workspace, channel name, customer name, time, and failure state. Never send the bot secret.
