Step 1 / 2
Read the status column

Queued → Indexing → Searchable; indexing failures appear in the same column.

Knowledge must be parsed, compiled, and indexed before it becomes available for answers.

Common states#

  • Waiting to index: The job is queued and indexing has not started.
  • Indexing: Content is still being prepared and is not ready for acceptance testing.
  • Searchable: The current version succeeded and can be tested.
  • Indexing failed: The current job did not finish; inspect the reason and retry.

Verify real use#

Wait for completion, ask a directly answerable question in the Playground, open the answer details, and confirm that the current knowledge source was used instead of an unrelated skill or model knowledge.

More generated items do not prove quality. A grounded, explainable answer is the acceptance result.
