Step 1 / 7
Open the widget config

Open your connected website widget from the channel list.

The widget should match your brand while remaining easy to find and read.

Update the appearance#

  1. Open the website channel configuration.
  2. Set the channel name, theme color, and launcher icon under Widget appearance.
  3. Review the Home title, Home description, and welcome message under Display settings. A new website channel gets a welcome message automatically. YundaDesk generates it from the visitor's browser language and the workspace brand name, not the channel name. Edit one source set and YundaDesk translates it for the visitor; blank fields use the localized system default. The welcome message becomes the first support message in a new conversation.
  4. Save, check the live preview, and refresh both desktop and mobile test pages.
  • Keep the name consistent with your website brand.
  • Use enough contrast between text and backgrounds.
  • Keep custom welcome content short. Leave it blank when the brand-aware localized default is sufficient.
  • The Widget UI currently supports English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Indonesian, Thai, and Vietnamese. It falls back to English when no browser language matches.
  • Support and AI replies use solid dark bubbles, while suggested questions use white outlined buttons so visitors can distinguish replies from shortcuts.
  • Only show suggested questions that have reliable answers in the knowledge base. Show suggestions on Home renders 1–3 questions as one divided list card between Chat with support and Contact us. Show suggestions in empty chats independently controls the welcome suggestions below the first conversation greeting.

Troubleshooting#

If changes are not visible, verify that you edited the active website channel, wait for saving to finish, refresh the test page, and check website caching.
