One source at a time

Managed AI carries learning, skills and memory; external AI only generates replies.

A workspace can use only one customer-facing AI source at a time. Switching does not create a second AI identity.

Managed AI#

YundaDesk managed AI uses the knowledge base, learning review, AI skills, customer memory, and answer traces. It is intended for teams that want improvement and auditability in one system.

External AI#

External AI calls your configured third-party endpoint. It only generates replies and does not participate in managed YundaDesk learning or automatically use managed skills.

Before switching#

Confirm that the new source is configured, test typical questions, understand which learning and trace features will change, and complete a real inbound and outbound test on a low-risk channel.

Selecting the source and enabling reception channels are separate actions. AI only answers on enabled channels.
