Telegram Link Generator (t.me)

Two link types in one place: enter a username for a tap-to-chat t.me link, or a URL plus text for a Telegram share link. Everything happens locally in your browser — nothing uploaded, nothing stored.

With or without @; 5+ characters; bots end in bot

Link format notes

  • The chat link format is https://t.me/username — no @; works for people, channels, groups and bots alike.
  • The share link format is https://t.me/share/url?url=URL&text=TEXT; the user picks where to forward it.
  • Telegram chat links can't prefill a message for the recipient — unlike wa.me; to carry context, use a share link.

Where the link works hardest

  • Storefront footer and contact page — a direct entrance for Telegram-first markets (Russian-speaking regions, MENA, Southeast Asia)
  • Email signatures and order notices — post-sale questions land straight in a conversation
  • Social bio links — one tap into your group or DMs

Frequently asked questions

Can a t.me link prefill a message?

No. Telegram chat links only open the conversation and don't support prefilled text; to carry context, use a share link (t.me/share/url) so the user forwards the URL and text into a chat.

Do links work with both usernames and phone numbers?

Public usernames always work as t.me links; phone-number links (t.me/+countrycode-number) only work if the person allows being found by number — for business use, prefer usernames.

Does this tool upload what I type?

No. The link is assembled locally in your browser; this page sends no network requests.
